Five Ways to Give
There are several ways you can join us in ministry to the homeless and poor.
1. Prayer
The foundation of this ministry is based on ministering to the homeless through prayer. 98% of the people we meet welcome us to pray with them. You can join us in prayer for them and us as we bring God's mercy into their lives that they would be saved. And you can pray for us as often as you remember. Join us as we watch what God will do.
2. Donate Non-perishable Food Items
Click on the What we buy and where we buy it twistie below to see the items we purchase for ministry to the homeless. If you are interested in purchasing any of the items, just go to the Volunteer page and use the list box next to the ministry dates. We will coordinate with you the best drop off day and time. These items can be found at Sam's Club, BJ's and Costco. You may also donate gift cards from Sam's Club, Costco's or BJ's to help cover the costs of food items we purchase.
3. Clothing and Shoe Donations
We gratefully accept gently used clothing and shoes for our ADULT men and women neighbors in need.
Please — no children's clothing.
Please bring clean, wearable items — all adult men and women sizes welcome. Drop-offs can be arranged by contacting us directly.
4. Join us on Preparation Night (always a Friday night)
Come join us as we eat together and make burritos and bags of non-perishable food items for 130+ homeless people on the streets of Nashville. Go to the Volunteer page for dates and times.
5. Join us on Serve Day (always a Saturday morning)
Come and join us as we break into teams and assigned routes. We get all of our supplies loaded up and head down to Nashville covered in prayer and mercy! Go to the Volunteer page for dates and times.
"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'"
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'"
"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'"
